College of the Desert sophomore Fumika Matsumoto repeated as the Orange Empire Conference MVP in 2015 after averaging 76.7 strokes per round and being named the event medalist in five of the 12 conference rounds this season, including the conference's only round under par when she shot a 69 on the par-72 El Prado course.
The Mt. San Antonio College women’s golf team captured the 2015 Orange Empire Conference title on Wednesday, capturing the 36-hole conference championship tournament with a 2-day team total of 689 to earn 16 points and run away with the overall title.
