Juelch aced the No. 16 hole on the way to posting a round of 80 while teammates Marissa Valencia (76) and Victoria Rodarte (78) paced the Mounties on their way to a team score of 322. It was Juelch's second hole-in-one of the season, getting her first ace in the non-conference North/South tournament held on the Morro Bay golf course.
College of the Desert was just three strokes back at 325, despite a 3-under-par 69 turned in by returning conference MVP Fumika Matsumoto. It was the first red (under par) score posted in conference play this season. Yi Chen Tsai was COD's second finisher at 80 while Kabrea Rosas posted an 81.
Irvine Valley (339) finished third with Palomar (341) and Orange Coast (343) just an OB or two back. Rebecca Peng posted a 79 for IVC as the only other player in the field to break 80. Dana Zapanta shot an 82 to pace Palomar while Emily Lewis carded an 80 for Orange Coast.
Only two more conference matches remain on the regular-season schedule before the conference championship event, scheduled for October 26 and 28 at the Sun Lakes course in Banning.
