Orange Coast College captured the Orange Empire Conference men's golf title on Monday at the one-day, 36-hole conference championship event held on Monday, April 25, at the Los Serranos Golf & Country Club in Chino Hills.

Cypress won the Orange Empire Conference match at Costa Mesa's Los Lagos course last Wednesday to create a three-way tie for second place in the conference standings which was quickly broken less than a week later at Victoria Country Club in Riverside.
Marcus De La Rosa posted a 1-over-par 73 to share individual medalist honors and lead his Orange Coast College team to a team score of 393 and another conference victory on the tricky Tijeras Creek Golf Club course on Monday.
Orange Coast College captured the Orange Empire Conference match at El Prado with a team score of 375 to increase its lead in the conference standings while Riverside (378) and Santiago Canyon (379) were not far behind.
Santiago Canyon College sophomore Austin Trcka posted a 3-under-par 69 to share medalist honors with Orange Coast College's Marcus De La Rosa and lead his Hawks to an Orange Empire Conference victory on the Navy Course on March 2.
The 2016 community college men's golf season kicked off the season with the Orange Empire Conference Tee-Off Classic, hosted at the Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills.
