Four OEC Schools Finish In Top Ten At SoCal Preview Championship
ORANGE, CA – The Saddleback College women’s cross county team led the way for the Orange Empire Conference with a 4th place finish at the Southern California Preview Championship.
ORANGE, CA – The Saddleback College women's cross county team led the way for the Orange Empire Conference with a 4th place finish at the Southern California Preview Championship (Sept. 16) hosted by the OEC at Irvine Regional Park. With 31 total teams competing, three other OEC schools finished in the top-10 including Riverside in 5th, Santa Ana in 7th and Orange Coast in 9th.
Saddleback finished with 213 total points led by Angel Vallier who finished (19:56) 20th place while Caroline Dagarin was right on her heels in (20:05) 22nd. Riverside finished right behind the Gauchos with 222 points led by a (20:08) 27th place finish by freshman Esther Shader.
Santa Ana and Orange Coast finished with 275 and 323 points respectively. Santa Ana sophomore Toni Lopez finished (19:04) 3rd overall to lead all OEC participants while Orange Coast's Alyssa Allen finished (19:27) 10th.
