Women’s Water Polo All-Conference Team Announced

The 2016 Women's Orange Empire Conference water polo champions Fullerton College places three athletes on the first team. The Hornets upset Golden West and Riverside to win the 2016 OEC crown.

The Hornets Gabbi Perez was named CO-MVP as she led the conference with 185 goals, 87 assists, and 123 steals. She is joined by teammates Marissa Vaccher and Maddie Garcia on the first team.

The Orange Empire Conference runner-up Riverside City College's Emily Martin was named CO-MVP as she led her team to championship game with a team-high 88 goals scored. She is also joined by teammates Mary Myers, Sarina Briseno, Ariana Olmos.   

The third place Golden West College placed Julie Luna, Isabella Magno, and Riley Beemer on the first team.

Shawna Kedzie (Orange Coast), Lgric Soto (Orange Coast), Alejandra Barajas (Santa Ana), and Maddie Alexander (Saddleback) round out the rest of the first team awards.
