Saddleback's Danyelle Allen Leads Conference in Goals, Named MVP

After leading the conference with 22 goals on the season, Saddleback College's Danyelle Allen was named the Most Valuable Player by the conference's coaches at their annual post season meeting. 16 of Allen's 22 goals came during conference competition, which also led the OEC.

Allen had five multi-goal games of the season including a pair of four-goal performances. The first time she accomplished the feat was in an 8-1 victory against Norco College before scoring four goals in a 5-0 win at Santa Ana College.

As for the top coaching honors, the conference coaches selected Santiago Canyon College's Ian Woodhead as the Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year. Woodhead led the Hawks to their 10th-straight Orange Empire Conference Championship.

The conference champion Hawks led the All-OEC teams with four selections on First and Second Team. Denise Delgadillo, Brooke Mays, Andrea Najera and Kirsten Martin were each named First-Team All-OEC while Jade Anderson, Jordyn Belanto, Taylor Hollywood and Danielle Snook were named Second-Team All-OEC.
