Santiago Canyon's Bianca Frontino Named OEC Most Valuable Player

Following their eight-straight Orange Empire Conference championship, the Santiago Canyon College Hawks were rewarded with eight selections to the All-Orange Empire Conference Team. Along with the eight selections, Bianca Frontino was named the Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player and head coach Ian Woodhead was named the Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year.

Along with Frontino, Dena Wasielewski, Jenna Petel, Madison Cody and Abieyuwa Ogiamien were all named First-Team All-OEC. Following the Hawks were three members of the Cypress Chargers who took second place. Chelsea Braudo, Michelle Mendez and Kimberly Gonzalez all represent the Chargers on the First-Team.

Third place Orange Coast College received First-Team recognition for Sara Gomez, Sarah MacArthur and Caitlin Padian while Jennifer Munoz and Korrie Dill represented Golden West College on the First-Team.

In their first season, Norco College placed Caitlin Crouse and Jordin Crosby while Santa Ana College was represented by Kenia Vazquez and Xochitl Sandoval.

Rounding out the First-Team were Nadia Ruiz from Fullerton College, Hannah Petersen and Alexa Winder from Saddleback College and finally, Irvine Valley College's Wendy Rendon.

Each team had the same amount of players named to the Second-Team All-OEC. The complete list is below.
