GWC’s Boston Frost Headlines All-OEC Team

The Golden West Rustlers successfully defended the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) championship earlier this month, and with that accomplishment were well-represented on the All-Orange Empire Conference Team. The Rustlers had eight players earn all-conference recognition after a perfect OEC campaign.

Boston Frost led the way for Golden West, earning the conference MVP honors. Frost finished 26-2 in goal and led the state with a 58% save percentage.  Joining frost on the first team from Golden West were teammates Michael Rodgers, Lucca van der Woude and Jack Wright. 

Orange Coast and Cypress were both rewarded with two players on the first team. Cade Zeilinger led OCC in goals this season with 77 and was joined by teammate Sawyer McCormick. Wes Brazda led Cypress with 83 goals this season and was joined by teammate James Luther.

Saddleback (Jayden Rose) and Riverside City (Yanti Quijada) each had one player make the All-Orange Empire Conference First Team.

In addition, Golden West coach Scott Taylor was named the coach-of-the-year.
