Fullerton College Set to Host 2013 Orange Empire Conference Water Polo Championships

The Orange Empire Conference Championship for Water Polo will be held November 8-9th at Fullerton College.  Going into the OEC Championships, the stage is set for the men of Golden West (19-2, 5-0) to clinch their 25th consecutive Conference Championship and 43rd overall.

Golden West and Orange Coast has both earned bye for the first round, placing their first contest on Friday at 1:00pm (game 3), and 2:30 pm (game 4) respectively.  Golden West will be playing the winner of Fullerton vs Santa Ana, while Orange Coast will face off against the winner of Riverside and Saddleback.

Game 2 (10:30am) will feature Riverside vs Saddleback. Riverside and Saddleback met for their first conference game of the 2013 season, where the Riverside Tigers took down the Saddleback Gauchos 14-6.

The championship game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 9th at 2:50pm.
