Riverside captured the conference match at El Prado this week with a team score of 359 to easily outdistance Santiago Canyon (375) and take over sole possession of first place in the conference standings.

The Tigers' Chad Hambright shot a 5-under-par 67 on the El Prado tract while teammate Paul Bradvica carded a 1-under 71 as the only two players to throw up a red number. Ryan Mendoza of Santiago Canyon and Nick Zapotoczny of Orange Coast both shot even-par rounds of 72.
Riverside (22-3) now has a one-victory lead over Santiago Canyon (21-4) while Orange Coast slipped to 17-8.
All six OEC teams are back in action on Monday, March 9, at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club in an event hosted by Saddleback College.
