NOTES:
Orange Coast started the afternoon strong in the 200 Medley Relay finishing first with a time of 1:33.64. Daniel Roa of Golden West then owned the 400 Individual Medley finishing in 4:00.04, sixteen seconds ahead of the next touch. Orange Coast found first again in the 100 Butterfly thanks to Tyler Jankovich's time of 50.32.  In the 200 Freestyle Ian Wheeler of Golden West out swam the competition with a finishing time of 1:40.87 and in the 100 Breaststroke Chris Bernard took first (58.36). However, first place went back to Golden West in the 100 Backstroke, Garrett Pickford touched in 53.82 to bring home the hardware. The last top spot went to Golden West in the 800 Free Relay, touching in an unrivaled 6:53.68 setting a new conference record.

50 Butterfly: Mackenzie Bailie, Orange Coast – 24.90

50 Breaststroke: Vivianne Mai, Orange Coast – 30.97
50 Backstroke: Kamaehu Alboro, Riverside – 27.08
800 Free Relay: Golden West – 7:37.85
 
 
NOTES:
The 200 Medley Relay belonged to Orange Coast, as they finished in 1:46.18, out swimming the team from Golden West. Melissa Bergesen from Golden West then responded with a win for the Rustlers in the 200 Individual Medley finishing in 2:07.70. Orange Coast took the next race when Mackenzie Bailie touched in 24.90 for the 50 Butterfly. Zeineb Kalfallah, a Golden West placed first the 200 Freestyle in 1:50.62. It was then Orange Coast's turn to hand out medals when Vivianne Mai finished the 50 Breaststroke in 30.97, just ahead of Cypress.  Riverside got their first medal in the 50 Backstroke thanks to Kamaehu Alboro touching in a close 27.08.  The last race of the day, 800 Free Relay, went to Golden West, finishing with a time of 7:37.85
 
Next: Prelims heats for Saturday's events will begin at 9:30 AM and the finals will start at 3:00 PM.
